26: Day 33: Opening Day Outtake

A few weeks ago I shot portraits for a group of really decent guys...a band, if you will. Well, even if you don't, they ARE a band...and their name is Opening Day from Pennsylvania. The night went great. Beer was consumed. Super Mario Bros. 3 was dominated. Photos were taken. I grew up with Chris (the bearded gentleman)& met Matt (far right) once before, and even though it was my 1st time meeting the other three guys (Eric, Pete, & Ryan [L to R]), it didn't even feel like it.

However, I was still rather nervous. This was my 1st time shooting portraits period & since these portraits would serve a greater purpose as basic introductions to the band members on their site...yeah...I was nervous. But when the time came, I wasn't & it turned out prettyyyyyyyyy good. Theres a possibility I might share some of the individual portraits here, but I'm not sure yet.

26: Day 18 + Story Behind "26"

Peace to any and all who visit my humble blog.

Last month I made a few changes, one of them being the URL of my blog, which I'm happy with now. The second is my direction. This blog never really had any & in turn, neither did I. It took about a year to for me to understand & face that. Having said that (if you watch Curb like I do you'll get it), I've begun taking on the challenge of photographing my 26th year of existence. We'll see how it goes. Hopefully we'll hold an almost daily (read: enjoyable) photo conversation.
