*reminds everyone that this is my blog, and Im back now*

Wow...that was awkward. Well, I'm back. After being sick twice and Xmas here I'am.
Being as though this is the 31st of December, we're onto a new year and all. No resolutions here folks, my plan is to open doors for myself this new year.

Now although in mid-2008 I started taking my photography seriously, what I wanted to do was share my "Year In Pictures".

Looking back at the year, I've learned alot about myself, relationships, and my art. For that I'm more than happy. Enough of that. Into 2009 we go.

Granted this post is almost a week after my birthday, but that does not matter. It doesn't matter because this post is about a really special person who made my birthday both special and fun. And thats something that I have really never had.

Post-Birthday Post #1

I intended on posting ON my actual birthday which was yesterday, the 22nd, but I got little to nothing accomplished yesterday except a great time. I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Which is why I'm posting the day after with my newest ongoing project. The Birthday Project.

The plan is to photograph all of those who are important to me on or around their birthdays (including myself). I think it will be cool to document growth and change over time.

So I started with my first subject, me, James Knight.

Yes, I, James, voted for the first time ever today. It feels good. Not because it should feel good, but because for the first time I feel as if I could have a part in something positive.
